Augmented Learning Environment for Physiotherapy Education

Virtualex assisted in upgrading the Augmented Learning Environment project being undertaken by SocialNUI to allow realtime multi-user interaction.

Students were able to use tablet devices to draw directly onto an image being projected onto a live subject, save annotations, and replay the entire session at any time.

This technology is currently being utilised by Melbourne University’s Physiotherapy course to greatly enhance students’ ability to recognise and understand muscle groups.
